The K rating defines the vehicle speed at which a 7,200 kg vehicle is stopped with zero or minimal penetration. K4 (M30) stops at 48 km/h, K8 (M40) at 64 km/h, and K12 (M50) at 80 km/h. Higher ratings are required for embassies, military bases, and critical government infrastructure.
Automatic retractable bollards (Arjuna series) rise and lower hydraulically, allowing controlled vehicle access. They are suited for active entry lanes where vehicles need to enter and exit regularly. Shallow-mount fixed bollards (Arjuna Shallow series) are permanently installed with minimal foundation depth (300–400 mm) and provide a permanent, low-maintenance perimeter barrier.
Shallow-mount bollards require only 300 mm (K4), 350 mm (K8), or 400 mm (K12) of foundation depth. This makes them ideal for retrofit projects, sites with underground utilities, and locations where deep excavation is not feasible.
Yes. All Secure Innovative crash-rated bollards are independently tested and certified to ASTM F2656, PAS 68, IWA 14-1, DOS, and ISO 22343 standards. Crash test certificates are available on request for all models.
The K4 Arjuna 400 has an emergency fast operation mode with a response time of 1.5 seconds. The K12 Arjuna 1200 responds in 2 seconds. This allows immediate lockdown in high-threat scenarios.
Yes. All automatic bollard models support integration with RFID readers, access control software, intercom, and CCTV systems. The electrical cabinet can be installed up to 20 meters from the bollard, providing flexibility in control room placement.
