The M50 Tracked Sliding Gate provides protection from vehicle based attacks and is therefore ideal for all critical infrastructure applications or other designated high risk areas with large openings. The robust sliding gate design with shallow foundations is manufactured from heavy gauge material and high tensile steel offering reliable operation and low maintenance.

A crash rated sliding gate is independently tested and certified to stop a heavy vehicle (7,200–7,500 kg) at high speed. Unlike decorative or standard security gates, crash rated gates are designed to absorb and dissipate vehicle impact energy through a reinforced steel structure, bottom impact beam, and shallow foundation system. They are certified to PAS 68, ASTM F2656, and IWA 14 international standards.
K12 (also known as M50) is the highest commonly specified crash rating. It means the gate has been independently tested to stop a 7,500 kg vehicle travelling at 80 km/h with 0.0m penetration. This rating is typically required for military bases, embassies, power plants, and other critical national infrastructure.
All Secure Innovative crash rated sliding gates use a shallow 400 mm foundation depth. This significantly reduces civil works, excavation costs, and disruption — particularly useful for retrofit projects or sites with underground utilities.
Standard opening widths range from 3,000 mm to 7,000 mm in 1,000 mm increments. Custom widths outside this range are available through our engineering team. Contact us with your site drawings for a tailored proposal.
Standard colour options include RAL 6005 (moss green), RAL 7016 (anthracite grey), RAL 7030 (stone grey), RAL 7035 (light grey), and RAL 9010 (pure white). The Tri-Protect® anti-corrosion coating is applied to DIN 55633 corrosion category C5, making the gate suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
Yes. All models support integration with RFID readers, access control software, intercom, CCTV, and third-party security platforms. The WE-Tronic II control unit operates at 24V control voltage and supports remote management and monitoring.
Normal operating speed is up to 0.4 m/s. In the event of a power failure or emergency, the gate can be operated manually after disengagement of the motor via a clutch lever — ensuring the gate can always be opened or closed regardless of power availability.
